John Bowman's archive show on RTÉ dug up some interviews with reknowned short story writer and novelist Mary Lavin - in this show Lavin talks about childhood, growing up in the US, rural Ireland and, later, Dublin.
Lavin published two children's books - including The Second Best Children in the World (pictured) and A Likely Story.
