The shortlists for this years Irish Book Awards have been announced this morning with Benji Bennett, Oliver Jeffers, Sarah Webb, Claire Ranson and Steve McCarthy, Chris Judge and Gerry Boland in the Junior Kids Books Category and Derek Landy, Darren Shan, Anna Carey, Denise Deegan and Alan Earley in the Senior Category.
