It's Sunday afternoon, you're full to the bursting point after having an extra helping of cake and you're between books. We know how you feel... tired after two days of reading, cooking, sleeping, eating, playing, shopping and now, well, now you're altogether too wiped-out to move from your seat.

You can catch the film adaptations of both Roadl Dahl's The Witches (5.30pm on Channel 5) and Stephanie Meyer's New Moon (8pm on Channel 4).

Yes they ruined the ending of Dahl's classic, but it does have a devilish Angelica Huston and Rowan Atkinson wielding a meat cleaver, and we know there are sparkly chested vampires in Twilight but it has got werewolves.
